Support to the Meetings Held by SAT Members
* Salon Leo
Salon Leo refers to a set of two rooms and is named after Leo Esaki, the President of SAT.
The salon is located on the 4th floor of the Tsukuba International Congress Center and only SAT members can use each room free of charge.
The capacity of the bigger room is about 20 persons, while that of the smaller room is about 10 persons.
SAT members can use each room from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except at the end of the year, at the beginning of the year, and during mid-summer). SAT members can use Salon Leo from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., in accordance with their shift at the Tsukuba International Congress Center.
Use of Salon Leo for sales purposes is forbidden.
When a SAT member wishes to use Salon Leo, he or she is requested to give the SAT office advance notice of the same. If a room is vacant, the SAT office will reserve the room for the member.
Continuous use that exceeds a week is forbidden.
The two rooms are not interconnected.
Users can eat and drink in each room, but are requested to clean the room afterward.
Users cannot smoke nor light fires in the salon's rooms.
If a user borrows something from the Tsukuba International Congress Center, he or she has to pay the predetermined fee.
Users parking their cars in the parking lot have to pay parking charges.
